Starting from Thursday, October 25th it begins one of the biggest events in Piedmont<\/strong> (Italy): il Salone Internazionale del Gusto<\/strong>. It will take place in Turin<\/strong> (Lingotto Fiere) till October 29th.<\/p>\n

Since 1996 (every two years) world wide non-profit organization Slow Food<\/strong><\/a> organize this particular feast for the palate. Il Salone del Gusto is an international event and specially for this occasion producers, farmers, breeders from each part of the world will arrive to Italy. All of them are associated with Slow Food or Terra Madre<\/strong><\/a> organization and in spite of living in diverse economical and political realities, dealing with different soil, climate, tradition and flavors, still they share one idea – to make food which is good<\/span> (from organoleptic point of view), clean<\/span> (respecting the nature) and fair<\/span> (treating employees and business partners fairly).<\/p>\n

It looks like being an interesting voyage around the globe with our nose and palate as a compass. In program you will find a numerous conferences, regarding, for example, water coming out from our taps or our daily bread. Additionally, it will be an unique opportunity to meet unknown producers, to taste local specialties, to buy original and usually difficult to get products. Restaurants located in fair area will offer regional food from different part of Italy or ethnical African dishes.<\/p>\n
