I think there is no better place to plan spring holidays then Piemonte<\/strong>. It\u2019s still not too hot, but the temperature is usually already nice to spend time outside visiting small towns, Turin<\/strong><\/a> and wineries in the Langhe and Roero region.It\u2019s a time of welcoming new vintages and the owners of vineyards are not so busy like in autumn, so they can dedicate you more time to showing their properties and presenting their wines. At the end of April and at the beginning of May there is Vinum event<\/strong><\/a> in Alba<\/strong><\/a> that helps even better taste in one place all great wines from Langhe and Roero<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As Piedmont<\/strong> become more and more popular as a holidays destination, it offers more and more accommodations. So you can choose between many Bed & Breakfasts, small hotels located in towns, but also beautifully designed apartments that spoil guest with comfort, amazing views and great cuisine, of course. One of these fancy places is Palas Cerequio<\/strong><\/a> in La Morra town, which I discovered by chance during one of my many trips around vineyards.<\/p>\n

In Palas Cerequio I happened to be twice. For the first time I came across when I was driving around looking for a characteristic Cappella delle Brunate<\/strong>. Suddenly I saw a complex of nicely looking building,\u00a0 surrounded by vineyards, on the top of the hill, and because usually in such cases my curiosity wins I decided to discover the place better. At the reception desk I was informed that Palas Cerequio is not only a boutique apartments, but also winery that organizes tastings of their wines.<\/p>\n

Staying in these apartments are not economical choice, of course, but for some people can be an interesting alternative. The price of a double room in starts from 190 \u20ac per night.<\/p>\n

Palas Cerequio takes part also in cultural events. During Food Wine Designe Week<\/strong> in 20014 there was an exhibition of Toshyuki Kita<\/strong> , a designer of utility and decorative items, and of Pomellato<\/strong> \u2013 a luxurious jewellery.<\/p>\n
