This summer, except a couple of rainy days, the weather has been cooperating and nobody could complain about lack of sun. Therefore the harvesting period this year is a little bit earlier than usually.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_185\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-185\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.belpiemonte.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/DSC02830.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-185 \" title=\"Barbaresco vineyards, Piedmont, Italy\" alt=\"Barbaresco vineyards, Piedmont, Italy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.belpiemonte.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/DSC02830.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"536\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.belpiemonte.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/DSC02830.jpg 800w, http:\/\/www.belpiemonte.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/DSC02830-300x201.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.belpiemonte.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/DSC02830-447x300.jpg 447w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-185\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Barbaresco vineyards view<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Certainly it\u2019s a perfect occasion for looking closely on winemaker work and participate in September events, at least in some of them.<\/p>\n<p>And here you have few examples for the next weeks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>September 16th<\/strong>, <strong>Mercato dell\u2019Antiquariato e del Collezionismo<\/strong> will be held in <strong>Cherasco<\/strong>. On Sunday more than 500 benches with old books, stamps, Vintage furniture and potteries are expected, which makes it a real treat for antiques collectors.<\/li>\n<li><strong>September 23rd<\/strong> in <strong>Bra<\/strong> (the capital of Roero) during the event <strong>Aspettando Cheese<\/strong> everybody will be able to take part in cheese taste experience. Cheese \u2013 international fairs, organized by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slowfood.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Slow Food<\/strong><\/a> and held every second year (uneven-numbered) in the third weekend in September. Even if we have to wait one year for these fairs, still you will not miss opportunity to taste all local specialties. On Sunday from 10.00\u00a0AM till 8.00\u00a0PM it will be a perfect occasion to get more information and taste Piedmont cheeses, salsiccia (sausage) and bread made in Bra, which combined with lettuce (cultivated in Bra, as well) create a sandwich <strong>Mac \u2019d BRA<\/strong> (in Piedmontese it means \u201cexclusively from Bra\u201d)\u2026<\/li>\n<li><strong>September 30th<\/strong>, <a title=\"Wine festival in Alba\" href=\"http:\/\/www.belpiemonte.com\/en\/wine-festival-in-alba\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Festa del Vino<\/strong><\/a>, in the center of <a title=\"Alba\" href=\"http:\/\/www.belpiemonte.com\/en\/cities\/alba\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Alba<\/strong><\/a>.
